Mandate’s vision began in the late 90’s as the first staff and Board of Directors purposed to reach the least reached. Resistance was being encountered in restricted areas for those wanting to go as traditional missionaries, so Mandate adapted accordingly. Beginning in India, Mandate became a vehicle through which qualified Christian professionals looking to work and live in least-reached areas could connect with like-minded businesses in an effort to transform the area for the Kingdom. Since that time, God has provided one open door after another, allowing us to facilitate the recruitment of professionals in B4T businesses in all countries currently listed on our website.
What is “B4T"?”
Business for Transformation, or “B4T”, is becoming a more commonly recognized term. This approach aims to transform lives and communities through doing legitimate, quality business in least-reached areas as well as having a dedicated long-term effort in evangelism and church planting. The goal of B4T is four-part. B4T businesses intentionally impact and have a measurable effect on the social, economic, environmental, and spiritual environment of the community in which they are strategically placed.

Statement of Faith
There is one eternal God, Creator and Lord of the world, manifested in the Trinity as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Old and New Testaments of the Bible are divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy and the supreme authority in matters of faith and conduct.
Human beings were created in the image of God but through Adam fell into sin, and can only be redeemed by the saving work of Jesus Christ, the sacrifice on the cross for the sins of humanity. Salvation through Jesus Christ, the son of God and redeemer of the world, was made possible through His incarnation, God with us, the physical image of the invisible God, born of the virgin Mary, Himself as the very God becoming ransom for sinners. Thus, the Lord Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and humanity. We believe that He died upon the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sin of the world; He arose from the dead in the body in which He was crucified; He ascended into heaven in that body glorified, where He is now, our interceding High Priest; We believe that He will come again personally and visibly to set up His Kingdom and judge the living and the dead.
The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, indwells, seals, teaches and enables the believer.
Through Jesus Christ, the believers constitute the Church, an elect company of those baptized by the Holy Spirit into spiritual unity and timeless global community. The mission of the Church is to witness concerning the Lord Jesus Christ, and to carry this witness throughout the world, proclaiming God’s love for the world, inviting everyone to respond to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and thus to receive forgiveness of sins and the liberating gift of God’s Holy Spirit freely given to all who repent and believe.
This Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of humanity, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of DevCorps International’s faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, our Board of Directors is DevCorps International’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application.
